Four Pillars Birth Chart
Based on the orthodox traditional Chinese Zi Ping structure school classic San Ming Tong Hui, computed by a deterministic rule engine
Exact time: calculates the hour pillar, hour-stem ten gods, hidden-stem hour gods, Zi-hour day boundary, and true solar time correction.Approximate time: chart facts are calculated from the entered time but the report labels hour-pillar-dependent sections as approximate.Unknown time: hour pillar, hour-stem ten gods, hidden-stem hour gods, and true solar time correction are not calculated; report shows incomplete-information notices instead of dashes.Birth city required for true solar time correction, timezone conversion, and city-dependent rules. Without it these sections show incomplete-information notices. BaZi uses the selected birthplace timezone and true solar time, including longitude and equation-of-time correction. The 23:00 Zi-start day boundary is used. Unknown time omits the hour pillar and may make day-boundary-dependent results uncertain; approximate time is labeled as such. Gender is used only for traditional luck-cycle direction and gendered spouse-star conventions.
Some report sections will be marked partial or unavailable when required birth details are missing.
